Thank you for your interest in this study. The purpose of the study is to better understand the bacteria that are present in the urinary microbiome in participants with recurrent urinary tract infection compared to participants who are not affected by frequent or recurrent UTI. Participation for those in this study who are not affected by frequent or recurrent UTI would last about 7 days. Participation for those in this study who experience recurrent UTI would last up to 180 days, depending on the frequency of symptoms.
To see if you might qualify for this study, we need to ask you some questions about your health history and present condition. Please be aware that answering yes to some of these questions does not necessarily exclude you from participation, but the information we collect is important for the study itself. Some of these questions may be sensitive, such as questions about hormonal therapy, birth control and your experience with urinary symptoms. If you do not qualify for this study, the information you provide will be stored until data collection for the study is finished and will then be deleted. Please complete the survey once only as the system will flag duplicate submissions. If you do not complete the survey the first time you may return to do it again.
